SUMMER Intro to Piano DAY CAMP
Camp is designed to explore child’s interest and readiness for the Sunshine piano class offered in the fall.
Children ages 4 1/2-6 years old explore the wonderful world of music through keyboard playing, singing, creative movement, crafts, and playing rhythm instruments in an ensemble. Introduction to the layout of the keyboard, the instruments of the orchestra, and famous composers. Students with no music experience as well as those who have taken general music classes like Kindermusik will benefit from this camp. Limit 6 children per camp. *Must have turned 4 by January 1, 2014

Half-day camp 9:00am-12:00pm Monday – Friday
$180/week includes snack and all materials.
Additional children from same family $120/week

Two week-long sessions to choose from: June 24-28 or Aug 5-9

MYC Sunshine group piano classes
Fun start to early piano learning.  Teaches the layout of the keyboard, rhythm, ensemble playing, understanding of basic musical concepts, vocal pitch development, music reading and composing.  Up to 6 children meet for 60 minutes.  Parents join in for the last 15 minutes of class.
Must have a piano or keyboard at home for practice. No piano or keyboard at home? Enrollment in this class qualifies you for a 10% discount on purchase of a keyboard. Not interested in purchasing a keyboard? See Kindermusik classes.

Laugh and Learn 3-5 years old

Ages 3-5: We engage your child in music and movement activities that also promote language, social and emotional skills, early math and early literacy, physical coordination, creativity, and more. Plus, your child will learn basic music vocabulary and notation — all setting the stage for future school success and formal music lessons. The included Kindermusik Home materials extend the benefits all week long with music from class, activities for the whole family, and each month’s story.
Up to 6 children participate for 45 minutes. Parent share in the last 10-15 minutes of class.
